DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
Lynn Preston, a teacher from Gauteng, has, for a number of years, exhibited at the festival her imaginary creatures made from scrap metal. For the past two years she has conducted workshops at the school. This year she held workshops over the duration of two days in our Design and Technology Department, at which every girl was given the opportunity of being involved in welding. The magnificent bird, which has found its home outside Pendragon, and the spiders and their web at the kitchen door, are some of the fruits of their labours.
